“Communes introducing new quality to the energy management as they are focused on integrated energy management consisting both in the supply of heat, electricity and gas and , what is most important, in the use of these energy carriers constitute a significant condition for the development of energy management in Poland. There is therefore no doubt that the time when the scattered heat generation industry becomes a primary business and electricity production (in cogeneration) additional business comes. The emphasis the communes make on integrated management leads to the emergence of multi-energy companies that fall within the niches left by power companies .”
